MT VS. AT, I am not sure if you can really answer the question. I love my MT, but for a daily drive in the Salt Lake snow (Just to clarify in case snow if different in Layton, or Blanding Utah) MT suck so I mount up my 33" AT that have been sipped. They will do much better. Get your AT sipped and save up for some muds. But don't try to do this to make a cheap pair of muds and at in one. If money is the problem (I am married and have a kid, money what money) just wait and get the muds when your AT are worn out.

Just think, in March many of the trails will have melted and you will be on the rocks once again.
