hey, question on the fender tube-- why isn't the back of it (towards teh firewall I mean) tied to the shock hoop too? Seems like it would offer a bunch more crushproofing for the fender that way??

Looks freakin' great though.

You're right about the increase in overall strength, but the idea was to give the fenders some added support in the event of rubbing them up against obstacles, yet still having a stock appearing fender "look". Basically, it was a compromise.

and a few of the steering components... :)

FYI, the vehicle has a complete Howe ram-assist system, but the fittings in the Scout box point towards the inside, so you cannot see them in the pics shown.

OK, here's a pic of the hydraulic assist ram and some rear axle/suspension components. The rear shafts are in and the rear axle/suspension is done minus a driveshaft and limit straps (both arriving tomorrow).

Well, its pretty much down to finishing fuel and brakes lines, and the time consuming wiring of everything. However, the end is near.

Here are a few more pics... :)

Bleh, old news, too flashy, old news.

Yes, I'm extremely jealous, that is the neatest dual purpose Crawler/street legal Cruiser I've laid eyes on. I'm just happy to say I've touched it in person... and no I haven't washed that hand since. Seriously BHR crew, what a stellar build, so many neat innovations and style cues wrapped up in one build.
