I worked for Sears two years ago and left there in Nov. 08.
I got a letter this week saying they had somehow overlooked that I had left and had me on unpaid leave and were now terminating me on Nov 10 2010 because I have not been at work.:-\
Today I got a check for 10 hours of vacation time I got during my 24 montths of leave time.
I talked to one of the people I worked with and he said the HR manager that took care of our time and pay had died right after I left and no one could figure out how the regional maintenance worked.
