LOL that's funny who do you work for? I have the day off but if It's bad enough I will take the YJ in seeing I think I am about the only driver with a 4wheel drive. :D

yup, partly cloudy also here in Draper. Looked at commuter link...looks like it's that way across the valley, though it's worse on the west side and south end.

I hate it when they hype storms and we get 3". I want a storm like '93 when it snowed all freakin' week, putting down BIG snow. It started on a saturday, and finally stopped the next sunday, 9 days of snow. They closed the U the next day...but it was already over.

Great, now directv is out, I'm gonna be really pissed if I can't listen to XM41 Boneyard while I'm working in the basement today.

"Hammered" and "both inches" do not taste great together.

Hammered, to me, means a minimum of 18", and for that little it had better get dumped in a hurry. In the 10 years I've been here, I have been decidedly underwhelmed by these "storm".

Glad to see others who share my lack of awe. :rofl:

Yeah, based on the big flakes coming down hard when I posted, I thought we'd have something. There was a lot of water, but it just made for a heavy couple inches. There's still some clouds up there, so we may still have something on the way....

well. Talked to the wife, apparently Tooele got hammered by wind! Stripped the siding off my friends' house, but I guess someone did a good job on ours, we didn't lose any shingles OR siding. We are missing the garbage can, my fence is ruined, and the trampoline is a block away and smashed into the neighbor's swingset.

"It's like a bear had our house in it's claws and wouldn't let go"- Kelsey, my 6yr old daughter, on the wind last night. :eek: :D

Go figure, the person who doesn't want the snow is getting all of it. -_- It has been snowing all day and as of this point the trampoline says we've gotten about 8 to 10 inches and it continues to snow like a bastid. :-\


Edit: So, I can't eyeball measurements for diddly squat. It turns out we have over 12 inches, and did I mention it was snowing to beat the band?

4" over night in Boise, biggest snow in the valley so far.
In fact I don't think we have had this much even accumulate this winter yet. 50 degrees yesterday. Weird

(I can distantly hear my deceased father going on and on about the signs of the times and seasons confusing themselves)
