With all the new media on bird flu it's time I asked what is your opinion of it?

I think it's going to be another West Nile virus deal. Lots of press warning us every night that a bird is going to cough on you and your going to die some horrible death but in reality it's just a ploy by the government to get more funds. (germ warfare?, biological counter agents?)

it could be just a ploy, but you know that old saying "better safe than sorry" or " the time you dont prepare is the time you get hit" just get your BB gun and watch for coughing birds in your trees :guilty:

This is just another load of crap. If you work with birds, then put on your tinfoil hat...if not...then you will be fine!

When I first heard of Bird Flu I pictured Big Bird with a hot water bottle on his head, thermometer in his beak, all curled up under a blanket

It's already spread accross central asia and russia- heading into eastern europe and killed a grand total of 21 people or something like that. I think we'll survive it.

they are not worried about bird to person transmission they are worried about a mutated form transmitting from person to person. ( cause viruses do mutate!)
