It won't ignore them if it can see them. However, by default the miner only uses a single core. You have to set it to use more than a single . If you do that, the command is ./raven-cli setgenerate true -1 (to use all of them) or change the -1 to how many cores you want it to use. We have seen a few cases, like on a macbook, that it performed better using all the cores even though they were hyperthreaded. So I'd recommend trying it and seeing what performs best for you.
