So, fourth year in a row I've made EJS. Third trip with my brother. Always a good time, but a bit bittersweet this year, as it will be my last EJS as a Utah resident. I hope to return for many years to come, but I'll be driving out from South Carolina next year (I better get a good tow rig!!)

We arrived in Moab on tuesday afternoon (a bit late actually). Great weather for that afternoon, although it did get a little cloudy later. I was supposed to meet a few people at 2pm, but didn't make that, and I called the one guy I had a number for. We met at 3pm and went up the rim.

Always a fun trial, and I try to hit it every time I go down there. It is just too beautiful, and the obstacles are awesome.

That's a great obstacle, and I've seen Jeep promotional photos from that very spot. This is the first time I've actually gotten any air.

Wednesday, we ran Flat iron mesa. A fun trail, but nothing too difficult. Great views throughout the day, and just an overall fun trip. It rained on us in the morning and again around lunch time. Overall, great weather, but I'm definately glad I have doors on my rig nowadays.

Thursday, we did top of the world. A rather easy trail that results in terrific views of Fisher Valley.

We bailed from the official trail run, as the trail leader said we wouldn't be getting off the trail until after dark. My brother and I made a bee line for the Hwy, and rode around to Onion Creek, where we ran the narrows.

Friday we ran fins and things. A very fun trail despite how easy it is. The very first trail I ever ran in my rig was fins and things at EJS 2002. Again, we had some rain in the morning,

but it cleared off to be mostly cloudy with periods of sun. Kenny's climb was wet and sandy, but very few people had any difficulty with it.

This awesome flattie was on fins and things with us. Very nice rig.

I'll let Jeff know. We did have a great time, and I will be back next year, although it is really going to be more difficult to get out here!

How did you and Dani make out on the raffle?

Good to see you John, congrats on the new job!!! Maybe we'll see you in May :)

Good to see you guys as well. I'm planning on heading down there on the 11th of May, run the rim in the afternoon. The 12th I'm taking my G/F to Arches, then trails on the 13th and 14th when a few others show up. Hopefully, we'll see you down there.
