"The BLM Salt Lake Field Office is seeking public input in advance of an Environmental Analysis (EA) for the Fivemile Pass OHV area in Tooele and Utah counties

Interested persons are encouraged to provide comments during this public scoping period from Nov. 15 to Dec. 2, 2019 to help identify alternatives, refine the proposed action, clarify issues, and identify new issues.

All comments must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2019 on the BLM’s ePlanning website: https://bit.ly/2KnmcCi.

As heavily used as the area is, making it a fee area seems wise. Improved maintenance and enforcement can help keep areas open in the long term. I also like the idea of equestrian trails.
