boat sides anyone?

thinking about doing it to my 78 chief. anyone done it. where to start? what to use? and the doors?

besides, aren't scout rockers usually rusted out anyway

On my '73 Blazer I cut the stock rockers out and welded in some 2X3 rectangle tubing.3/16" would be enough.

think im gna hafta do it. i will probably cut about 4" off the door and just go at an angle down to the frame. there was an article in an old mag about it. but the mag is long gone.
