Boulders and Capital Reef

We just got back from our Memorial weekend trip. We spent three days fishing for the big trout on the Boulders. We ended up catching lots of nice brook trout, tiger trout, cutthroat, and rainbows. The weather was a bit crazy, it blew like mad every day but today and on Saturday it snowed on us. We kept on fishing in the snow since the fish were biting so well. Today we hit a lake to catch some fish for my daughter and then headed down past Lower Bown's reservoir on the Tantalus Flat road. This road turns into the South Draw 4x4 road in Capital Reef NP. It was a fun ride especially hauling my old trailer down the road. Here are a few pictures.

I saw your jeep parked in salina today at about 4:30. I don't like driving mine enough to drive it that far

Nice. I love Boulder mountain. We got a just few snowflakes falling on us in The Swell on Sunday, which was weird because the weather was actually pretty semi nice except for those snow flakes.

That's where my daughter lives, we were dropping off some fish and visiting. We were going to take the WJ which is more comfy but we wanted to go on some tough trails so we left it home.

We caught more of the big ones but I didn't want to get the camera wet with the snow or the fish slime.
