I heard about a new cartridge.......338 Lapua. I'd like to try it out, apparently it's a big ***** with some serious range.

It's not new, and the .338-378 Weatherby Magnum out shoots the Lapua. That and the ammo/brass is cheaper relatively speaking.
If you want to go ahead and end the contest I'll bring up one of the .338-50 BMG wildcats such as the .338-50 Talbot
