Glad you got it out. Slow might have sucked but man that part of the trail is bumpy and rough anyways atleast slow is easy on the back and kidneys

Luckily I don't have Lucas parts in my rig. Mine was built when BMW owned Land Rover. Unfortunately the electronic HVAC is still filled with plenty of gremlins

Wow, just logging in. Glad you made it out. Is that now a mandatory spare part that you will carry? Like CPS, IPR, fuel filter, etc, etc on a f*rd?

I got the part in and everything seems to work. I'm not sure about buying a spare. Obviously when it failed it made life difficult but I think I will have to check online and see how big of a problem it really is. That being said next time I'm at a junk yard I'm going to see what they charge for one. I'm also going to tear apart the old one and see if in the future a field repair may be done. I'll let you know on that.
