Buggy - 1 Power Box - 0

So, the buggy has been sitting out on the trailer in the snow for about 2 weeks now. I needed the trailer for tomorrow, so I took the buggy off and decided to do a little snow bank jumping here in the back of the cul -de-sac.
All was well, until my father pointed to the BIG snow bank in the corner. I figured... Why not?

So now the entire side of the street is without power...
Seriously, they should make those boxes a little stronger or something.
I got to speak with a very nice police man, and two logan city power guys. But I will be avoiding my neighbors for the next few weeks.:-\

OMG that's hilarious! Are you you going to have to pay for it? My neighbor backed over one of the utility boxes at the end of their driveway last summer. Not sure if it was cable or telephone.

No sparks or anything that cool. The police acted like it was no big deal and the power was only out for about 2 hours. They had to replace a transformer and the actual box was pretty mangled.
I originally told the cop that I hit it with my 4 wheeler, and the buggy is registered as a 4 wheeler so I figured that was legit. Then about an hour later he called me. He said, "I was looking at the tracks and the amount of airtime and there is no way that was a 4 wheeler." So I had to explain that a little, but he still seemed cool.
I dont know if I will have to pay for it, the power guys didn't say anything about it, nor did they when I called it in. But I would not be suprised if I get a bill next week. At least my father has already agreed to pay half if it comes.

I have done alot worse at some construction jobs( back hoe pulling up the big stuff) i have never been billed for it, the UP&L guys are union so they dont care, its just another day at the office. I am not sure about logan city
