Pm me on what you would want for the thinnest if you could please. The stack doesnt need to be real thick but the 1' or so for the smoke box to the tank would be preferred the thicker material.

Been awhile since the last post here. I have since dropped off the trailer with a fellow smoker buddy in Heber to help me weld some of it together.

I have since picked up some 2" square tubing and extended the tongue out the front 12" and also extended the tongue out to the rear of the trailer for more support. We also picked up an upright brinkman smoker to put on it for a place to put our 10" dutch ovens to cook as well as a 2 burner stove from cabelas.

We had some trouble with the sami front springs being too soft and so the tongue is only clearancing the axle about a 1/2" and so today I picked up some 3" front samurai trail gear springs to lift it a bit more.

The plan will be to pull the main tank to one side, on the opposite side have the upright brinkmann on a corner and on the other corner have a table with the 2burner stove on it and a kitchen box underneath the table, and lastly a basket on the tongue to put the wood.

Pretty sad when a smoker weighs more than a Samuri! Ha ha

This is really turning into a cool project!

Progress photos I just got today from my buddy. I may get this back tomorrow if I have time to run up to Heber then I need to find a bead blaster in Utah county to help me get more of the galvanizing off since the sand blasting didnt get much of it off.

Almost there. Had it blasted a total of 3 times to get that galvanizing off and after testing a few welds in it we cant seem to find anymore galvanizing on it. Just to be careful we are coating the inside and out with 2000 degree rated paint and will season over that even though after 3 blasts there doesnt seem to be anything left. This paint costs a bit so ill be painting it as I can afford the paint.

Things still to do:

Axle needs moved back to help with weight distribution
Need to find some 3" or so pinwheel vents to put on either side of the firebox
3" Samurai springs need installed
Need to drill more holes in the handle of the tractor cap we got for the chimney so it can be adjustable
Need to build a wood holding basket for the full length of the back side and decide to leave it at that or raise it enough to slide a cooler underneath
Figure out what kind of lights to install and where

Anyone have ideas on what I can place on the back side of the trailer to carry wood and charcoal? Or can someone fabricate an affordable basket of maybe angle iron or square tubing and grate material? Space to work with is 20" wide by 4ft long.
