Bulk metal fab production?

Anyone here ever dealt with having a product build to your spec, in bulk? Looking for suggestions on where to take such a product, hoping to produce units 500 or so at a time to reduce costs. It's some pretty simple steel pieces that'll require a little cutting, bending and welding.

The closest I've done is had some fan brackets for a crf cut out (I don't remember how many, it was a sheet of aluminum so it probably ended up being 50-75, still have a bunch of them ). I used Whitmore Family Fabrication for those

S&S Manufacturing in W. Jordan has an automated welder. I can't remember if they have a laser/brake though. They might have to farm that out. Good guys that run it though. Ryan and Anthon. If you contact them, let them know I referred you.

I know that Kingdon does bending, probably pretty hard to beat their lead time and cost. But I think they only offer cutting (shearing) and bending services. I don't know that they weld anything.

I'm not sure that I'm going to go thru with it.... wanted to have a business fixing something specific, but I'm not sure that it's worth the energy for the ROI.
