Buying a parts XJ

So, Jon (JJJZJ) and I are going to probably be purchasing a 89 XJ Waggy for parts here in a couple days. I'm gonna be taking the nice 4.0 that actually runs and swap it into the nice red XJ that doesn't run. Probably going to take the AW4, check it out, and probably swap that out too with the Peugot. Jons gonna take the NP242 and swap it out with his NP249 in his ZJ and also take the HP30 to swap with his low pinion.

Question is who's wanting to help tear everything out of this donor Jeep next weekend so that it doesn't sit around in my driveway for too long? Beer is a must of course. Whoever wants to help gets one or two :D

Also, any negative effects of removing the entire AC system? IE, does the engine have stuff plugged into that it needs to run right?

Brett

Here's another pic from the weekend:

Got a question. What axle is in the rear of that XJ? My buddy has an 88 Cherokee Pioneer (I guess the Pioneer means crappy axle included!) His came with the Dana 35. If it has the D44 he would be interested in taking that off your hands. If it is the 8.25 he might be interested in that. Let me know and I will talk to him, then we'll come help ya pull it apart, as long as we can bring a sledge hammer right? :D

It's got a grey interior. If I remember right, the seats are in good shape. Probably just need to clean them up. I have dibs on the steering wheel though :D:D

I'd like to speak the panel under the steering column!!!

EDIT: and I'm always in need of spare taillights.....I might not need them now, but give it a few wheeling trips....

How much you want for that Dana 35? All I want out of it is the axleshafts. Do you know R&P and if it has the Trashlok?

Now talking about R&P... That does have the High Pinion Dana 30 right? If it has 4.10 gears, I will trade ya my Dana 30 (which has like 3.53's or something like that) or pay ya. let me know. thanks man!

If the Dana 30 is what I'm looking for I won't need the 35 axleshafts because I have a 44 waiting to go in, but am too cheap to do gears in the 30 to match my 44.

I am lucky and already have a built 44! :D It's got 4.10's and an ARB, and has alloy shafts (not bigger splines though :( )

Jons already got dibs on the HP30, so no go on that. I don't know the ratiom but it's his. As for the rear axle, make an offer that isn't too insane, and it's probably yours!

Sorry, I won't be able to get the seats for a month or so. If you still have them I'll be interested but don't hold them just for me.

Cody (grocerygetter) wants them and I owe him some cash, so he might have first dibs on them, unless he changes his mind. I might hold them depending on what you offer though :D

Sorry, I can't offer anything right now. I'm not even in the area and won't be for three weeks. Let Cody have them, he'll put them to better use anyway, but if you have them when I get home I'll be interested.
