So my 2001 f250 superduty was in need of a new tranny and J&G wanted $4500 for the monster build and I just couldn't swing it so I traded the beast in for a 2006 LJ... I got a great deal but now I need things....

First off the drivers mirror is broken...
second it has these sucky rims on it...

On the good side it came with the Dana 44 in the rear instead of the d35 so I'm happy! Now I'm wondering if the detroit locker in my 86 cj7 dana44 will work in the 2006 dana44... more research to follow....

Until then enjoy my stockish jeep... it has 2 inch pucks on it and 33 inch tires....

The first set of rims is the sucky ones.. the second one is the I want to find 4 more of....

Oh yeah its a 6 speed!!!

Your Detroit will work, assuming it's the correct one for the gear ratio you're running. 3.92 and numerically lower takes one carrier, 4.10 and numerically higher takes the other.

33x12.50 is pushing it a bit on those 15x7 wheels, let me know when you get them off and I will take them off your hands, would look good on my trailer.

I have 4.56 on the old cj and would like to go to 4.10 on the LJ so then it would work! and then I can just get a spool for the CJ!

found out today that the original owner never activated the sirius radio subscription... so when I did it gave me a free year of programming!!!

That's awesome, channel 99 is your friend :D that's kinda like how when I bought my Internet-connected vizio tv as an open-box item apparently someone before me had logged into their Netflix account before returning the tv I purchased. Well when I purchased the tv and plugged it in it was still logged into their account and I got a years "free" full subscription to Netflix. I currently pay monthly now for it though.
