Cabin Canyon is about 20 minutes south of Mesquite Nevada. This is where the Glitter Gulch Gambol is held. Very scenic area and some absolutely great wheelin'...
Date is set feb 24th - 25th. Maybe 26th...
Last time we did this trail we left camp with almost 30 vehicles. When we finally got stopped by trail damage there were only 5 rigs left. Mace in his FJ40, Myself in my 40, the famous Marlin in his red '79 mini, Offroad63 in his 40, and Pumpkinbronc in his bronco. Pumpkin blew a hub while goofing off at the upper end of the trail and ended up high-centered on a huge boulder with almost no rubber on the ground. On our way down we caught the last stragglers limping their broken battered rigs off the mountain.
This will be alot of fun and a chance to try to reopen or repair the trail to the top where it was the year before.
