Where is there camping around moab I have seen people camping south of moab off the highway any info a freind is looking. oh and hes a moab virg lol.

West of Moab - up on both sides of Potash (Colorado River)
East of Moab - Sand Flats recreation area
North of Moab - I think you can camp at the Gemini bridges staging area, be sure to pay the fee
South of Moab - Behind the rocks campground & AreaBFE

Just about anywhere. Just make sure it's not posted and if you aren't sure, ask someone. Either that, or you might get a ticket or etc.... And just because others are there, doesn't make it legal.

Most of the primitive camping that I know of has been shut down, but there are lots of developed campgrounds in any direction on the river, in town, sand flats, and south of town .

and finding anything during easter weekend will be unlikely. It's the beginning of the fair-weather-camper/wheelin season.
