Can-am/Bombardier ATV's To Buy?

Any reason not to buy a Can-am?
We are looking at getting a used 05 Can-am 400HO. 1600 miles.

Will will mainly be using it for trail riding and plowing in the winter.

I like Japanese stuff because it is usually cheaper to fix. I don't like how the 4x4 systems are all automatic, I like to be able to select my 4x4 and select my locker. Their visco-lock system is stupid and unreliable unless you keep the stock size tires on it.

I have an 05 Bombardier 400 HO 4x4 and love it. Has way more power than any 400 or 450 that I have been on. No problems thus far. And unlike the Japanese bikes, mine is still under warranty (three years).

I wonder if the XT version has issues then?

I think we have decided on a Yamaha Grizzly.
