I need to get a tint job done on my wife's Forester. Can anyone recommend a good shop or company located in SLC/Sandy/Draper?
Thanks,
Jason

I can't remember the name of the place but it is on just off of the 90th S exit on I-15. Onthe SW corner of the exit intersection. I saw Brent Ortons XJ (oldtime RME'r) there, I know he does good work.

Pro Tint.....Ask for Brian

Aren't they the ones that are (or used to be) in the same buildings as where Ms. Conceptions used to be. Thats who I used for my wife's car and they did an excellent job.

Ask for Shane or Kody

I have used these guys on every vehicle that I have owned and never had a single problem with the workmanship that they perform.
I have sent them countless number of people friends, family, and total strangers and not one person was dis-satisfied with their work.

I will second these guys I have had them do all of my cars the past few years. They used to go as dark as you wanted but they had a few raids on the store and now only do whats legal.

How expensive is window tinting? For years I have wanted to do some of my cars but was alway afraid it would cost alot.

yup Shane is the owner Kody is his brother.

Shane has been tinting windows for well over 12+ yrs. his head installer (name slips my mind) has been tinting windows some where in the neighborhood of 15-20 yrs.

These guys know their tints and how to apply it properly.

I have been getting my windows tinted by Shane since 1990.

it also depends on the vehicle...a Jeep with flat straight windows will be cheaper than something with curved deep windows. For the most part though its no too pricey, my wife's Jetta was about $199 or so and that was for the real nice 3M tint (we could have gotten the cheaper stuff if we wanted).

Per car. It is really quite reasonable for the amount of work and product that goes into it. Get the highest quality film though.
So is this stuff some what scratch resistant? Anyone have a website that talks about the durability?

it will scratch but it will take something hard and sharp to do so. On my wife's Jetta it doesn't feel like its on the windows, it feels like the window was made with it. We have had the stuff on my wife's Jetta for a couple years and it doesnt have any scratches. I would say its VERY unlikely to scratch it...my comments are based on my personal experience with the stuff, someone with more knowledge may be able to better answer you question though...
