She forgets her smokes, comes back and makes a scene. Later psycho hubby comes back, makes a scene, cops get called. Next morning, drop little Timmy off at day care to the crazies???? That's wild.

This is so much fun I'll be the third party! :D

It was NOT over a $5 pack of cigarettes. It was over the way the person at the counter treated Eric's wife when she came back for them that pissed her husband off and that is why he came in to the picture.

Apperantly when she came back for them there was a different person working (Dan please correct me if I'm wrong). This person was very rude, but once the cashier that sold her the cigarettes was contacted the issue was resolved because they remember her forgetting them. Eric wasn't happy with that and expressed his feelings towards the rude cashier--which we all know is not the proper way to handle that situation. I'm not trying to justify anything I just know that when someone is a complete a$$hole to my wife it effects me too and I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut, but I know I have too just let it go :p

It's alarming in my situation because my wife is good friends with Eric's wife, and we are both really happy with the way our kid has been treated in their care so far. With all this going on I hope that when I drop my daughter off today the belligerent husband doesn't get pissed and start beating kids. So far no susicious bruising :-\

Anyway he is not allowed back, and hopefully it ends at that. If more becomes of it and I feel like my daughter is threatened in any way then I'm through doing business with them. period.

Why not be preemptive and not wait until something happens or she feels threatened. You are talking about standing up for your wife, do the same for your daughter.

This is pretty accurate. But then again we never disputed the facts of what happened. My guys story and her story pretty much matched. He maybe could have been more polite about it, but in the end he was looking out for the best intrest of the store and doing his job.
Like I said before, I had no issues with them up to that point, they were just as good of a customer as anyone else.
The husband came in the next morning to complain, he told me the same story my grave guy did. I told him that I was sorry if was not as polite as he should have been, but he was doing his job, and she got her smokes, after the swing employee called to tell that she did infact forget them. I told the husband that maybe we were making a bigger deal out of this than we needed to. That when he got pissed and and said that if he ever saw my guy again he was going to fn kill him, then he left.
I know, really weird. :ugh:

Look, I didn't start this to bad mouth anyone. I have ZERO proof of any wrong doing by them. From all accounts they run a fine daycare. It was a really weird situation that I think got blown way out of proportion. I can appreicate standing up for your wife, but telling some guy that works alone all night that you don't know that you are going to F**king kill him the next time you see him, is crossing the line in my oppinion.
I have to stand up for my employees just as much as he does for his wife..

Well, one thing to remember is the customer is always right. Maybe he should have just given her the smokes. BTW, remember those 4 30 packs of Coors Light I bought the other day and forgot to take. I'll be up to get them this weekend. Thanks.(nothing but good to say about your customer service)
