We were on the Milford side at an area called Rock Corral. It is an area known for large smoky quartz crystals that come out of the granite. They are tough to find unless you hike away from the areas most people look for them. The area is very scenic and rugged and has a lot of wildlife. The other pictures were of the Frisco ghost town west of Milford and the Great Stone Face just north of Milford.

Defiantly some place I will be exploring on next years deer hunt. Do you know if there is a road over from the Beaver side? Or do you still have to drive down and around through Minersville?

There is a road that goes straight west of Beaver that goes to where we were camping. I think it was called the pass road and lets you go to Milford without going through Minersville. It is a dirt road and goes through a scenic pass in the mountain.
