Carrier pin bolt

Is this bolt toast? Should I get a new one and a new pin?

The cross pin itself has very little visible wear. O'Reillys has the little bolt for $3, in stock even. Should I be able to get away with just a new bolt?

$3 now could save you $1000 down the road if it fails. Replace it and not worry.

With the bolt being worn like that, should I worry about the cross pin?

The cross pin is probably constructed with a harder alloy. Replace the bolt, blend any scratches/scoring on the cross pin and run it.

Well I guess the one O'Reilly had is wrong and Napa doesn't have it either. Six states here in Ogden is checking for me too. Anybody know of a place I could get one today? Or should I just order a kit from amazon?

What's it fit? Dana 35?

No a Chrysler 8.25. But the Cherokee version. I guess it's different for the liberty and dodge stuff.
