Chadrick's Jeep getting some TLC @ BHR...

I haven't posted up any build threads in a while, so I thought I'd throw some progress pics of Chadrick's Jeep. It originally came in for the cage to be re-done out of larger diameter tubing, new seats, and boatsides.

Now, the project has snowballed into new front tube fenders, grill hoop, fuel cell re-mounting, rear crusher corner mods (to work with the boatsides), and reconstructing the previously hacked out rear inner fender wells.

I don't have any really good "before" photos of the cage, spare tire mount, and fuel cell mount, so maybe 'ol Chad can provide us with those. However, I've got some more current ones of the cage in progress, boatsides, and front tube fenders.

Enjoy... :D

Looks nice! I have to wonder though--with new tube fenders, why not raise them up into the hood? (High-fender style...)

Those are always an option. Chad may have to chime in on that...

I know that it would be more costly, so that may be a factor (and he's already having quite a bit done at one time). Also, he doesn't rub or have clearance issues, so it would kinda end up being a cosmetic choice more than anything else, ya know?

I have nothing to say!

j/k the fenders I just left the same because mmmmmmmmm not to sure but they look good. they might look funny being raised up unless I was running some 42's or something a bit bigger then a 38" tire. the jeep has taken on a whole new look. I love it :) Ill have to dig up some pics of the hoopty cage we had in there and post them up...

This Jeep is sooo cool looking! I like that it really is a hard core vehicle while still looking close to the way that it rolled off the assembly line. Nothing to drastic that screams rock buggy or anything like that. Just a clean, very well put together rig. Nice job!!
