It won't be by much if any: only so far you can move the flange I'd imagine... say a max of like 4"?

damnit now I'm all curious.

EZ or Milner know the recipe better than I do.....but I think it's Ford rotor and wheel hub, GM caliper and spindle. (assuming you're starting with a GM-ish D44)

If you start with an 8 lug Chevy converting to Ford hub/rotors will narrow the WMS to WMS by 3/4" on each side if I remember right. If you start with 6 lug then everything will stay about the same.

Thanks Bob. I figured you would know it cold. I will be starting with a 6 lug. I was hoping to gain 1-1.25" of width.

Is the chevy conversion the same as a jeep?

I have a 6 lug that I would like to make a 5 on 5.5

Yes. Simple change of hub/rotor if you have the earlier spindles. If you have the later ones(somewhere around 78) then you need to turn down the inner bearing surface of find older spindles.

If it is a 6 lug, lond spindle (Shortspindle from a 10 bolt won't work), Carl is right, just swap the ford 1/2 ton wheel hub and rotor. No change in width. If 8 lug chevy, then you need a 1/2 ton chev caliper bracket and the ford wheel hub and rotor. (FSJ's have the right parts too, but some are 6 lug)

BTW Hickey, I found those 9000's if you still want them!!
