taken from jeepforum. We here at Notch Customs have created this vendor account at JeepForum.com specifically to address, in an official capacity, any confusion that may have been introduced on this thread. Allow us to clarify a few points:1) We are NOT Iceland Offroad, and never have been. None of us at Notch Customs were ever affiliated with them, and currently have no relationship with them, either. At one point, before we became Notch Customs, a few of us tried to be customers of Iceland Offroad, but were ultimately unsuccessful (at significant personal cost). So, we're a whole different company, and completely different people. Let me tell you a little about us.Our owners, Russ and Dustin, are a couple of Utah guys, born and raised, and have been Jeeping for a long time. We're a small business, but all of us own Cherokees, and know what it's like to work on vehicles, and what it's like to deal with vendors. We've bought things from really great, trustworthy businesses, and we've dealt with some crooked people too. Now that we're offering a product we love, and we think a lot of you love too, we believe in working really hard to deliver quality parts, and quality customer service.2) No suit has been filed against us. We're not sure where that information is coming from, but here are the facts: at some point, Iceland Offroad's molds became legal property of the fiberglass manufacturer they were using at the time. It's not our place to comment on why that occurred, but it did, and we were provided copies of signed paperwork proving so. We became aware that the fiberglass manufacturer wished to sell the molds they then owned, and we entered into negotiations to purchase them. Those negotiations were open, fair, and overseen by lawyers. We made the purchase, and now own the molds, and have all necessary paperwork to show this. Again, no suit has been filed against us, and we're not worried about one either. From there, we began working to start production again, and improve the molds and hardware for a better fit and stronger hold. We really love these flares, and hope to incorporate customer feedback to keep improving them over time. Soon we hope to start offering bumpers as well, and we plan to continue offering these products indefinitely. For us at Notch Customs, whether or not Iceland Offroad is in business, or selling flares, does not concern us. Despite our best efforts to worth WITH them, they have instead opted to compete. That's fine. We're just going to keep working as hard as we can to offer quality products and great customer service, because we think that's what will earn your trust. Reputations speak for themselves. In that respect, we're confident we can take on any competition.3) We're doing everything possible to make things easy for customers. Since we started selling our Max-Clearance Fender Flares, the response has been huge. It takes a lot of work, but we're doing our best to keep the products in stock. IF THE WEBSITE SAYS IT'S IN STOCK, IT REALLY IS, and it'll ship within 1 business day. We mean that. Those customers that have already ordered know that, because they've either received their product already, or have UPS tracking numbers. Payment on our website is through PayPal, the most well-known and secure method we could choose, to protect the customer. Our promise to the public is that we're never going to accept your money if we can't deliver. And here's another promise to the public: you're entitled to awesome customer service, whether or not you purchase our products. Keep in mind, we're a small business, but to the extent we possibly can, we're going to take your calls, and answer your emails promptly. We think we've done a pretty dang good job so far--if any of you have contacted us already, you know that. So if you still have any questions, or want to know more about the products, PLEASE DO email, call, or even drop by if you're local. We'd love to help in any way we can. Thanks, everyone, and we'll see you at Easter Jeep Safari, in Moab!NotchCustoms.cominfo@notchcustoms.com801-785-1671
