It would be fun, but not worth the drive IMHO. I hated that drive!

Chile as in South America?! No thanks at 14 mpg I would be broke by the time I got Guatemala... and no one wants to be broke and stranded in Guatemala!

We were all set to go and then our friends backed out, didn't have their rig ready.

Now It's too late for us, maybe next year.

I've driven down there twice. Don't know if I'd do it again, but I hear it's a blast down there.

just got off active duty with the military at fort bliss tx... just a short 53 miles from Las cruces... did it a few times in my expedition but had to take allot of the bypasses due to the trails where too narrow... its a blast... but would never do that drive again... hated Texas!!!

And yes I know that Las Cruces is in New Mexico!
