I bet a Motorcraft 2100 would be great on that Flathead. With some mods, they can work amazing offroad.

That would be my first choice, and you can get new units for decent prices.

How tall is your setup now and how tall do you want it to be?

For those not familiar a Flathead Ford is pretty funky it has a water pump on each side of the motor

Axles steering etc removed. I'd like to meet the guy who decided to put the master cylinder on the side of the frame. That was fun to get out.

I've been slothful. We be finished. How you tension belts on a flat head ford. Strap to steel beam tension them up. Runs even better then I thought it would. Power steering, disc brakes all around, 12 volts.
