My front driveline CV joint went out on my Cherokee a few weeks ago and I was going to get anther one made. 
When I was going through the garage I found the almost new drivelines from a past project and the front one looked like it had the right size parts.
When I put it on the bench next to the old one it was 1" longer and had a lot heavier duty slip joint.
The CV joint and u joints were all the right size and it bolted right in
With the lift, longer is a better fit
