My plans to wheel Price with @Pile of parts ended up getting changed due to weather, it rained the night before and was raining hard off & on the morning of. I had driven out to the trailhead for Pinnacle trail and it was a sloppy, muddy mess. Being that the trail is in the bottom of a wash, we discussed our options. We both really wanted to wheel Price, but it seemed like a bad idea.
After a bit of debate, we settled on heading a bit further South/East to Moab, Jason called some friends and we headed to Moab to run Cliffhanger. We arrived in town around 11 AM and it was a good call to run a shorter trail with the late start. We met up with Dale (Jimmys buggy) and Mark (Land Rover Disco buggy) in the parking lot and headed up the canyon.
I'll admit, the 'normal' trails in Moab have become more challenging over the years with all the traffic, ledges getting dug out by the standard bigger tires, etc. It was nice to be in the TJ on 40's for the trail, there were enough challenges to have some optional fun but still maintain a decent pace thru the trail. We dropped in and began working our way up.
