I live in Salt Lake and am looking for some places to wheel. Can some one help me.

I looked for a topic on places to wheel around here and couldnt find anything.

AF canyon is closed and so is corner. Where is left?

If you can help a brother out please give me directions on how to get there.

Thanks in advance.

Well, I'm not far from you. I'm in Murray and I'll tell you where I go....

For close trails I go to Butterfield canyon (over by kennecott mine) and I go around the point of the mountain past Eagle Mountain. It's only about a 20-30 min. drive and there are trails everywhere. Also there's a few trails over on the Sandy/Draper mountain. I just haven't figured out how to get to those yet.

Unfortunately, that's the closest trails I know of. Everything else is taken over by private property.

If you're interested in going, hit me up and I'll tag along :D

Nice day at Draper.

Before I posted this my Buddie got a ticket at Corner. It was $180.00 Just so everyone knows it is now provate property and they (who ever they are?) will be building custom homes there.

There is always the "B" in bountiful, Old ward canyon, and Skyline drive over to Farmington

Isn't a section of Skyline Drive closed from the road sliding away? I don't think you can get through, but I may be wrong.

west jordan,
af canyon is open, there may be snow but it should be open, butterfield canyon is private property except for the main road. the uintas aren't that far away, and if you are really ambitious, Mecca, aka Moab is only 3.5- 4 hrs away, perfect for a day trip.

Last I heard, farmington canyon was closed due to the road washing out. Shouldn't affect the bountiful side or up high.

leave by 6. down in time to still get breakfast, figure "about" 6 hrs on the trail (without problems of course), eat an early dinner back in town, home in time to watch letterman. sounds like a pretty good day to me.

Talk to SRN... he has done that a couple times... Some of the early EJS participants did just that too... One day! :D

I did Rattlesnake and it was awsome. I would like to look at doing some more trails though.

If anyone knows how to get to any of these trails please post how to get there and what rating they are. That would be a ton of help.

Is little Moab open (Meaning no tickets given out) to wheeling and how does one get there?
