Thinking of taking a job in St George......

what clubs are available?

Is there any? I have kinda searched, and couldn't find much.

I am looking for a good family club. One that is for all makes and models, or at least one that is only for ramchargers!!!

Is there anything down there organized???

Thx!!!

What is with that??? St george has tons of good wheeling, and a host of enemies wanting to keep us off the land!!!

seems like the perfect place to have a well organized club that will actively promote responsible land use, positive awareness, and throw in some kick butt club runs......

why is no-one doing this....

Good points, and a good question. If you move down there, you need to get a club started.

There's been talk of getting a club going again in St. George. I haven't heard anything lately on it. Maybe we can get an update.

The Canyon Country 4x4 Club in Kanab is very active in land use issues, We have a few members down in the St. George area.
www.canyoncountry4x4club.com

Also utah4x4club.com has quite a few members active in Southern Utah right now

If I move, I will be leaving a great club! Snake river offroaders is a great club here in Idaho falls! We have a ton of great people that work hard to make it a blast! most of us have kids, we all drive different outfits, and we usually keep things pretty clean. We have runs ranging from easy senic roads, to mud pits, to hard rocks!! our rigs are everything from stock sammi's to buggies. My wife and kids look forward to each time we go out. Sometimes she grumbles a bit when i stay up with the guys till 1 am fixing one of our rigs....but she is really thankful they are clean guys, and that I am not out doing other things!!! we help build each others rigs and encourage each other to be better at going to church. Our wifes' love to get together and visit, and many have had babies in the last month or two(including us). when we are not fixin our rigs we may get together for dinner and cards..As I write this...I really don't want to leave I.F. but I just may have to!!!

We have had tons of trail clean ups and are currently working with the BLM to create an offroad park where we can have room to crawl!!!

I love this club and want to find something like it is St. George.

Is there anyone like this in Dixie?

If I gotta create it, so be it!!

Come down and help us start one! I know that there is a group in Kanab that are more than willing to wheel. We probably need to have some input from someone that has been through some of the trials of it.

I have lived here for 7 years now and would love to join a group locally. I know that there quite a few that live down this way and would love to get together and go out.

There are a lot of great people in St. George. Just cause there isn't an organized club right now doesn't mean there isn't anything going on. If you missed the U4WDA Spring ride in May, you really missed a great one.

If you wish to help put a club together, I'll bet you'd have a lot of support.

Thats what i figured....I knew there was stuff going on...I just want to be a part of it! I have no desire to re-invent the wheel. I just want to find a group that I can throw myself into and help keep the lands open!

We just had the Idaho 4x4 association run this weekend, and it was a huge success!!!

Seriously, those in St. George should consider themselves very privilaged to be gaining Chad as a fellow wheeler.
Who knows, if the wheeling in incredible I could always transfer to the St.George Sportsman's Warehouse and join ya Chad.
