My 85 4Runner is having some sort of clutch master cylinder problem i dont know what to do either, i've replaced the clutch master cylinder maybe 3 or 4 times now, and its not very fun, but after about 2 months i start to loose pressure really slowly till i have to force it into gear. does anyone have any solutions??? i cant see any visible leaks in the lines or on the slave. but i think im in the process of killing another master cylinder. anyone else having problems can i get a different years master cylinder that was built better?? anything will help

I had that problem on an '88 Blazer. It wouldn't go away until I finally just bought the master/line/slave all new and put together from Chevy. After that, 0 problems.

Were are you buying these slaves from? If vautozone..... I would think twice about that. As Meat is saying, buy new not rebuilt.
