hey me and Jason did alot of research on this subject while starting to build mine we found we could get billstein 17'' travel rockcrawler coil overs for a descent price but still pricy best price i have found is through rockkrawler and get ones like creasey fox coilovers about 12'' of travel but work well and really cheap and maybe the way to go.

P.s. your secret is safe with me on the parts cuz i know what u mean

Boy the project has taken a strange turn today.....
I am going to buy a flat fender from one of the guys at the shop...
drop in a 2.5 cyl, 5 speed, and 231 with tera low......
The flat fender comes with a yj frame for me to throw it on...
This way I can keep the ford 60 stock except for gears and locker and same with the 14 bolt....
This means the entire project will cost about 5,000 and that means all I gotta do is come up with the money for coil overs...
I will keep the grinch the way it is and now have 2 jeeps in the family.... lol

Yep a 2.5 lol.... Im gonna build this rig ultra light weight... The 2.5 engine with all the bells and whistles you can get except a supercharger, 5 speed tranny, 231 with tera low, yj frame, and flat fender with title are all one package........ worth the 1700 im gonna spend on it.... Now I just have to put it all togeather lol.
Also in the distant future I want to swap a short star( I know there getting hard to find) itno the rig. With this set up I will not need any adaptors. Just minor modifications to the bell housing...
