Does it make a big difference to not run them? I have a zj and want to lower it a little bit, its lifted about 6". The isolator is about a half inch thick... also what's the best way to take coils out?

It'll be a lot louder...the isolator keep the metal spring off of the metal coil post. I wouldn't run without some sort of isolator.

How low are you trying to get it and why? And removing coils is easy with long arms, just disconnect the sway bar links and shocks and jack up the bumper with a shop crane, the coils will literally fall out.

Half inch would work. I have 1" pucks in the rear that im going to take out, the rear sits a little higher right now. The rear doesn't have an isolator, just the puck. So im going to start with removing that and see how it sits.
