Comb Wash Easter Weekend 2012

Another cool trip that you probably weren't invited to. This trip had passive aggressivism, "what if" discussions about throwing poo bags in the fire, commando rattlesnakes guarding the ancient temple, lots of wind one night and cold temps on the other.

But seriously, there was a rattlesnake ambush at one of the tower ruins. The snake let half the party pass then engaged the rest of us and while that was happening, another rattlesnake tried to flank us. I surprised the flank snake with my ninja skillz and came very close to being bit (he hit my shoe). These snakes were young and are the worst to be bit by, it could've ended badly.

I didn't take any pictures but perhaps those who did will post pics.

worst trip report ever for two reasons.

1) I was not invited
2) You can't do a trip report to comb wash and not post pics, especially when it involved poisonous snakes

I'm glad you weren't dentally raped by those snakes though, the young ones, as you've stated, don't really control their venom output and dump whatever they've got, right into your veins.

Actually, I was invited, buddy. And you know what? If I'd been able to go, I would have taken pics. Lots of them. And then I would have shared them with everybody. Cuz that's the kind of nice guy I am.

And I would not have thrown baggies of poo in the fire.
