As of late I am getting an error when I open some websites & webpages, sometimes it prevents the page from opening completely.

Any ideas? I tried all my IE updates, etc... no avail.

You might have picked up some kind of spyware program that is erroring out every so often. Not much else to conclude with that screenshot.

That is what I was thinking. Unfortunately the "Run Time error" is not very useful. It basically means that something has crashed. My guess is the same as Herzogs, it maybe a cheap spyware type program that is trying to run along-side IE. If you use the firefox browser I bet it works ok, and maybe you can use that browser to get some of the anti-spyware programs that may help clean up the issues. Just be careful of what you use to clean your computer, don't get tricked into installing garbage to fix garbage.

I will second the adaware by lavasoft, and I would also recomend this one

I have never had spybot do much good, it seems like it is not updated often enough, and I have never tried housecall.
back when I had to use the different spyware cleaners I too prefered adaware. I used to like spybot but after a while they kinda stopped updating it. I have no experience with the MS one (switched before it came out) but I have heard good things about it.

there are other legitemate applications that can run in ie that can become corrupt, I'd recommend. go to tools->internet options->under general settings select the objects button. r. click and select update. this is a good place to see if there is Spyware too. it may show damaged in this menu if they are broken and can't be fixed remove them.
