Minor correction on the times of the course: 6:30-9:30
So the 4 hour mandatory course is wrapped-up in in three hours?
I like it! 
If he's willing to do that, that'd be awesome.. Otherwise i'm ok with $40.

Ha, that's funny... The big thing is I saw it but to me was it appealed more towards the conceal/carry crowd obviously, it's in an obscure BB format (I really hate phpBB) and it only has 1K members in a couple years meaning growth is super slow. I personally wanted a bigger general overal gun forum including hunting, rifles, etc, so that's why I set it up, versus over emphasising the conceal carry... For example my objective with conceal/carry personally is the training, ease of gun purchase, and to occasionally just be able to keep a gun in my glove box rather than actually carry
If anyone is interested in participating let me know as I'm looking for moderators... The site is now 100% live and completely functional complete with legal/everything... My goal is to now have a couple local big dealers like Gunnies, etc, hop on with some comp advertising I'm going to give away until the board starts becoming pretty active, and turn it into a real marketplace as well..

My family is doing a class after the first of the year, anyone who can't make it to this class is more than welcome to join ours, we've already got 6 people (from my family) committed to doing it.

Those are my exact reasons for taking the class. I don't know that I will ever actually carry. Having the option is nice though, I may carry on long bike rides by myself into desolate areas. Guys please go ahead and register online.. $40 off is what we ended up getting which is still $10 less unfortunately. Such is life and its still a pretty good deal. I think it will be a fun class and good group...
