That is the nicest trailer I've seen in a long time! I think my brother was originally taking a picture of it but that goofy red thing somehow moved into frame and ruined the photo.

I bought my Cherokee 10 years ago. I tried building others but keep going back to the Chero. I gto the 14 bolt in mine and will be swapping the 8 lug hubs over soon. I got 35" retreads now. I wanna go up to 37's eventually but I dont want anymore lift so I'd have to hack up the fenders which I'm not ready to do yet.

But really, Your Wagoneer is like what a FSJ should be.

In fact, Sami's old blue one is still for sale on KSL... lower it a touch and have at it!

On a strap, I never did attempt the Nest unassisted.. But I bet it'd have a fighting chance with the right tires and line..

I appreciate your opinion. It really is exactly what works for my family to haul enough gear, tow, etc. We may have to start our own thread dedicated to the BIG jeeps if we keep ripping off on this one! I love to talk about waggy's (and other FSJ's) and could go on forever!!!!:)

Go for it, I like Waggys! At one time my brother had a nice '78 with a 360 & T18 that ran real good... the motor was just rebuilt and had some Edelbrock parts on it. That motor was pretty damn healthy!

Hi Jack Kesler. Kidding.

Really though. I've seen some mean built rigs on constrictor and most everyone has to winch. I didn't realize that the toyota's can achieve up to 115" in wheelbase.

My only problem with waggys is the visibility due to the FS status. And the carburetor thing. I'm 1:1 with carbs one climbs and one stalls bad. What's the experience with waggy carbs?

I had a 78, it was my second 4x4. With the stock 2 bbl, (I think it was a carter?) on the 401, it would run damn near upside down. Then I "upgraded" it to a holley 4 bbl that would light up all 4 tires at every stoplight, and it would flood out driving up the canyons. Had to jet it way down, and had nothing but problems.

I wouldn't say K5, they're too wide. :D They ARE cheap though..

For what you've described I would say.... one of the older 2dr Unlimiteds... or a 4-Runner. In fact, Sami's old blue one is still for sale on KSL... lower it a touch and have at it!

K5 too wide? I drove r.snake and Constrictor to the Eagles Nest in mine Saturday. Oh yea, its a little narrower in places since yesterday. I dont recall the original post asking if the rig in question still needed to be pretty.
