cool. Once you have proven the science wrong, be sure to publish your findings so we can all say we knew you when.

Maybe for your next feat you can show that the world is indeed flat ;)

yep, that I'm wrong. The reason being that the host always eliminates one incorrect answer. I was doing everything off of the host eliminating an answer.

I made the mistake of arguing the logic of multiple doors, rather than reading carefully that the host knows whats behind the doors and always chooses a goat. The problem didn't explain that he always chooses a goat implying that he could choose the car. Just because he knows whats behind the doors dosen't mean he always chooses a goat. This could after all be a really mean prize show where they don't give you a possible win on a second chance if you didn't get it the first time.
The question did not state that the host always picks a goat if you didn't get it right on the first try.

here one. More of a common sense scenario than a math puzzle. Easier, but fun.

You have three random light switches in one room and three randomly connected lights in another room that you can't see until you enter it. You have to figure out which switch connects to which light. You can only go into the room with the lights one time, how do you know which light goes with which switch?

Please don't blurt it out if you already know the answer.

Think I finally got it...

3 doors available, you pick one (33% chance of winning), You bet against yourself (66% chance of winning).

Once I accept the fact my luck sucks the problem makes sense.
