Just because there are tire tracks doesn't mean it is part of the trail. This is not in an "open" area. If in doubt, stay off it.

I think I know where that's at. About 8 years ago that would go up the large face and horseshoe back down to the other side. It was well traveled back then. Probably 3 or 4 years later it got closed along with a lot of other routes on PSM.

In the sandy part right before the waterfall?

If that is the spot....I did it like 6 or 7 years ago before it closed

wow i didnt say i did it or was going to do it just asking on it SORRY

Calm down.....Nobody here is giving you any grief over it. Just stating some facts for you. When in Moab stay on well documented trails and fellow trail maps. Best way to stay out of trouble or start any.

The wall before the Waterfall used to be open and I did it; if this is by the arch, it's definitely off-route and the person who did it should be ticketed. Props to you for NOT doing it, even though there was already tire tracks there!!

Yup, in Moab it's easy for someone to try a new route and have it get tracked up quickly by sheeple, which is why trails get closed.
You did the right thing by staying on the designated trail..... and Thank You.

For those who use this logic ......."well, there are tire tracks, so it must be an open route?" should substitute this logic and see if it they come to the same conclusion....."the keys were in the ignition, so it was OK for them to drive away in my rig"

x2. I hope it's not the one by the arch. That would be lame.
