Coors Brewery Tour

Just got back from Denver for a short vacataion with the girlfriend, and I have to say that one of the best highlights was the Coors brewery tour. YOu take a bus to the place, they show you how everything works, and is grown, tested packaged etc. Then you get 3 free samples.:cool:They have the normal long tour which is the one I went on and the college express tour, which skips right to the free sample bar. Plus its all free and your only limited to one tour a day. The other cool thing is that it's totally self sustaining. They produce their own water and power. The perfect world begins with beer- I knew it. ;) Oh yeah the employess get free beer on tap while they work- in the break room and their on site gym has coors light on tap:rofl:

All you can drink crap beer sounds divine!

fixed it for ya...

I understand that coors light isn't good tasting, but where do you guys think your drinking water comes from? I usually don't drink coors, but thats the coolest tour I have been on in a while. Have you guys ever had a arrowhead water-_-:p

how long did the tour take? Where do you catch the bus? Any idea what time the last bus departs? I spend a bit of time in Denver and have wanted to take that tour in the past. :)

Its in golden about 30 min from downtown. The parking lot is about 1/4 mile from the brewery. The hours were like 9-4 pm. The last tour bus leaves the parking lot at 4 we were told. Took about 45-50 minutes for the actual tour, from the time we got to the parking lot to wait for a bus unitl we got back was just over 2 hours and it was a saturday

Seems only Spence could find fault in free beer. I'll drink a Coors Light over a Miller Light any day. Prefer Corona Light.

Hey sometimes paying for quality is better than getting inferiority for free! Maybe it is better from the tap at the brewery but damn...that stuff stinks too bad to let it near my mouth.

I remember going to the car wash near my house as a child and finding a sixer sitting in the sun. We threw rocks at the cans which were more than ready to explode. I will always remember the hot stench of that coors wafting across the parking lot and from that day I swore to never get within arms length of that brand....NEVER!

Pretty lame spence, that you base it all on expired beer sitting in the sun when you were 8:p

The kicker is...I was at a party a couple months ago and some mullet rockers were drinking that stuff...it smelled exactly the same on their breath so my opinion has been enforced time and time again!
