Ok everyone interested, here is the plan. I talked to UP and they said that it would be best to wait till Saturday where we have daylight all day rather than try in the evening where it will get dark soon. They didn't put a cap on how many could come so anyone that wants to get muddy is welcome. I'm not sure what time would be best and where to meet. I'm leaning towards meeting somewhere in SLC or Magna and then meet again at exit 62. Any ideas of where to meet? Speak up and I'll figure out when and where.

I started a new thread on the rescue but thought I would put the info here also.

So for those that don't know I buried my truck in mud last Thursday out in the west desert. I have talked to UP and they said Saturday would be the best day to get it (you have to go on their road to get to it). I figure the best place to meet is off of exit 62 on I-80, it is west about 30 miles from Tooele. That is where we turn off to go north. I am thinking we will meet there at 9:30 and plan on waiting 15-20 minutes before we head out. The more the merrier so come on out. It will take a little less than an hour to get to my truck and then I was thinking after we get it out we can play a little bit in the Newfoundland mountains.
