If you had access to a CUCV Blazer what parts would you want from it and why? It has a 6.2L diesel, TH400, NP208, 12-bolt with locker(6-lug), dana 44 front(6-lug). What would you want and why?

Thats the one thing I have to give back. It is a training vehicle but only the body and frame are needed back. Thats the deal. Was just seeing if there was something about these vehicles that has awesome parts was all. I am taking the TH400 and mating it to my small block and dropping it in my jeep. I will use the 208 for now until I can afford the rebuild on my D300 and do a reduction box mated to it. I will update my previous posted build thread with some pictures and the parts I am using once I get them all laid out and get pictures taken.

I think you'll want to swap out of that diesel converter

That's a given, although I have heard guys using them I will swap it. I think stall on those is in the 1,000-1,200 range and the stock SBC is about 1,500-1,700. I have a TCI 1,800 that I will be using since my power band starts at about 1,700rpm. I have a 2,500 stall as well but that is from my drag racing builds and I doubt that a higher stall like that will be better for my build.

Ran outside and crawled under it real quick, 10-bolts front and rear. No intrest from me now lol. I just went off what the trainer who owns it told me. I did check the drivetrain and it is a NA 6.2/TH400/NP208 combo so I am still good to rip that out. So this thread is pretty much dead, I thought someone would know some sort of nice nugget on this but I think the TH400 is the best part on this vehicle. Oh well.
