So every writeup says to go to napa to get custom PS hoses. I went there and they said that they don't do that. So I was wondering if any of you knew of a place arround the Orem, UT area to get them done.

Thanks.

I dont know if they are around Orem, bt Evco House of Hose will do hoses...you have to know what the fittings are you need what PSI hose you need, what size hose and the lengths you need.

EVCO house of hose baby!

There's one in Orem... talk to Dave Bagshaw... or there is one in Sandy.. talk to Jeremy. I just had them make up the ones for my Liberty at the one in Sandy.

Oh, BTW they now do D.O.T. approved brake and clutch hoses... I just got a bunch made and they are way awesome.. braided with a clear polymer outer skin.

I don't have either of them, I do know the length though. How do you find out what psi do I need? I bought a tranny fluid cooler, and it came with some hose in it. wondering if I can use that.

I guess I'll have to take the pump in.

is it a sag pump? if it is then you need a bump tube fitting...I dont know if they will (or can) crimp them on, what they had to do for mine was adapt the bump tube to -6AN and then go off that...if you do take the pump in it will be easiest for them and they will get it right the first time...

Just make sure you tell them what the application of the house is going to be. They have some standard hose that they use for power steering line that covers any pressure needs PS develops. They don't do anything at all with flaring or crimping steel tubing (other than to crimp their universal ends onto hose) so if they don't have a fitting that already has the right end on it, or they can't adapt one of theirs to it, you'll be out of luck. But in my experience, they've had everything I have ever needed to build hoses. Just take a detailed sketch with length's and needed ends down to them, you might also find something that will thread into your gear and into your pump to show them for reference on what kind of ends you're after. Make sure you identify whether you need the O-ring style tube ends or not. If you really can't determine what ends you need, you may have to take the components in to them, but that really should end up being a last resort.
