I know the jeep waggy and the chev ones are interchangeable. You will have to use the ford spindles and hubs if they fit as the spindles are different.

Yes you can swap the knuckles but you don't need to. You can swap the ford hubs and rotors on to the waggy axle as long as you have small bearing spindles found on the early 70s GM or jeep 1/2 ton axles.

Yes, but as mentioned you MUST use everything from the knuckle out meaning hubs, spindles, brakes etc...Now to make things interesting, i swapped waggy knuckles, spindles and brakes onto my wifes HP44 front but kept the ford hubs and rotors. You have to machine something like .40 off of the chevy spindle to get the inner wheel bearing to seat properly. This allows you to run hi steer with the flat top waggy knuckles and still have the larger wheel bearings of the fords.

I was able to swap ford 5 lug hubs and rotors on to a chevy d44 (same as the jeep) without having to machine anything by using the small bearing spindles. You use the jeep or chevy outer stub shafts since the ford stub shafts are not the same length and you won't be able to put the outer hub retaining clip on.
