My cj7 stiil has the Dana 300. The way it hangs down on the passenger side sucks. I have looked a little at the kit that Jb conversions makes seem like a decent product. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with this? Is install hard to do? Driveshaft mods? Also what about oil in the t -case it seems like it would loose some if its oil capicity.

I ran a ring for www.gotoguys.com I think thats right.Search pirates for them if not.Anyways it had 3 choices of clocking.I was able to get a flat bottom with it.You have to cut the floor board or beat the hell out of it to clear the case.As for oil just be sure to get the oil level up to the intermediate shaft.

I don't think I had to do any drive shaft mods. The rear for sure not.But you may need to lengthen the front. And if you have a SR.It will make in more important to have a long slip shaft.

I have a DIY4x unit on my D300, it works but is not nearly as nice as the Go2guy version. JB makes nice stuff, but from memory (and without checking) I think their version replaces the input shaft retainer, or something to that effect--making it more expensive.

Lots of price points available, so one of them will suit you. :)
