Dana 60 question

Is it possible to swap the shafts, gears, and knuckles over from a gm Dana 60 in to a Ford Dana 60 housing if you wanted to go from a passenger side drop to a driver's side drop? Or is there something I am missing?

There are some things you are missing. For starters the gears for the chevy are standard rotation and the fords are reverse rotation. Shaft lengths are different. Knuckles have different bolt patterns for the spindles. Sale the chevy complete and buy a ford axle.
