I have a duelly width 14B set up for 4 link if you want to buy it. Disk brakes, BTF truss, set up for coil over, NEW YOKE*, 4.88 gears, Detriot locker, track of about 64", 8 lug of course. Oh, and shaved :)

There you go Kiel

Man up $$

Either way, you are not going have enough juice to break either of them:greg:

You've seen how I wheel man, imagine when I have a rig that has power to break stuff. You won't want to be behind me:D

I am running a LT1 350 with a little extra in the chip burn (around 300 HP)with 42" tires and I have never worried about breaking that 14B. I know you don't want to build this rig and then worry about breaking it and having to fix it all the time, either axle will do the job for you. I think you really need to decide about the other factors (width, gears, ect..) and make your choice based on which axle fits your needs the best, not the cheapest or easiest to get/find. When the day comes that I break mine I plan to just laugh it off because I know I have beat it pretty hard and that's what you get when you beat your junk. Then I'm gonna fix it and wheel on.....
Your not going to choose the wrong one, either will work.

That video of the axles breaking doesn't work for me, so I still haven't seen one break :)

At this rate, I won't have anything to worry about :greg:

Carry extra junkyard 14 bolt axles if you are that worried.

I have seen some 14Bs get the beatdown back home with heavy assed swamper 44s/stealies with 454s ETC and have only seen yokes let loose. Most of the time it was because the drunk redneck behind the wheel.

Grab a prepped 14 and move forward >>>>>>

I just may help you -_-
